Whether you are a complete beginner, expanding your horizons from indoor climbing or a climbing veteran looking for advanced rope skills, our qualified and experienced instructors can guarantee you a great day out. Day courses run for different skill levels at a choice of climbing venues across Cornwall. There is a host of stunning climbing locations; granite tors on Bodmin moor and Dartmoor, lava sea cliffs at Polzeath and the granite spires, ridges and sea-cliffs of Lands End and the Sennen to St Ives area.

Our climbing instructors have experience climbing all over the UK, Europe and the rest of the World holding the relevant qualifications from the Mountain Leader Training Board for our activities.

We’ll provide all the climbing equipment and safety gear necessary. Also unlike many other companies we believe it is essential to provide rock climbing shoes for you to get the most out of your day.

A fantastic experience for first timers, this is an exciting and fun day out for all ages and confidence levels. From scaredy-cats to budding geckos, we’ll show you the ropes and provide you with the essential skills to become a climber, all in a fun and safe environment.

In the morning you'll learn how to belay a climber, tie yourself into a rope and pick up tips on climbing techniques while trying a number of exciting and varied routes on top quality granite. Lunch is provided and then after a short rest we finish off with an afternoon of abseiling or even more climbing, it’s up to you!

The full day of climbing costs £60 per person. Equipment (Including rock shoes) and lunch are provided.

If you are a regular indoor climber looking to progress onto real rock or you have completed the Introduction to Rock Climbing course, then this is the course for you.

Push yourself a little further and get a real feel for technical rock climbing, experiencing a different, more advanced venue than the intro session, learning more skills and working your way through progressively longer, harder routes. Several venues are available for this course including Bodmin Moor and the Sennen sea cliffs near Lands End.

The full day of climbing costs £80 per person. Equipment (including rock shoes) and lunch are provided.

This is the next step to becoming a proficient free climber: With a maximum of 1:2 instructor/client ratio, you'll learn to lead-belay, 'second' a lead climber up a technical route, place protective gear, and achieve a greater understanding of the equipment and rope systems of the traditional rock climber. You may even be able to bag your first lead climb.

The full day of climbing costs £120 per person. Equipment (including rock shoes) and lunch are provided.

If you are a proficient trad rock climber or have completed an Advanced Rock Climbing day and are looking to enter the realms of serious multi-pitch or sea cliff climbing then look no further. With a maximum client/instructor ratio of 3:1 our MIA instructor will spend a full day running you through all of the techniques involved in climbing and staying safe on sea cliffs or multi-pitch rock climbs, before heading out and experiencing the real thing.

The price is £140 for one person, £210 for two and £250 for three and includes all equipment.

We also provide highly rewarding, intensive courses of one or two days, for individuals wanting to increase their knowledge and skill in a personalised learning environment.

From trad leading to advanced rope techniques, safety systems and multi-pitch rock climbing skills, we can fill in the gaps in your experience to propel you into being a better, safer climber.
