Matthew (Director and Senior Instructor)
Matthew discovered climbing at university, since
then (sadly a long time ago now) he has climbed all over the UK,
Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Indian and Nepalese Himalaya.
Matthew also has a strong connection with the sea as he grew up on
Guernsey and spent much of his misspent youth scrambling around the
sea cliffs, sailing and power boating there.
Matthew is a qualified Climbing Instructor, Kayaking Instructor, Mountain Leader, Beach Lifeguard, trained Coasteering Instructor and Powerboat Instructor. Matthew spends the majority of his time up cliffs, in or on the sea and wouldn't have it any other way.

Simon (Director and Senior Instructor)
Simon was introduced to adventure sports such
as climbing, kayaking, skiing and mountaineering at a young age,
with annual trips to North Wales and the Alps, but it was a month
long expedition to Iceland when he was 16 that cemented his love
of the mountains. Simon has since climbed high mountains in the
Alps, the Rockies, the Andes and the Himalayas. His latest adventure
was completing the Haute Route in Easter 2008, a seven day ski-mountaineering
route linking Chamonix to Zermatt. Simon is also a highly skilled
and experienced waterman, with a background of competitive swimming,
13 years of surfing all over the world and numerous adventure trips,
such as paddling over 1000 km in a dugout canoe along the Amazon
river.
Simon is a qualified Climbing Instructor, Beach Lifeguard and BCF trained Coasteering instructor. Always looking for new adventures, Simon spends all his spare time either in the mountains or the sea, or planning that next big trip!
