Starting from the beach at Port Gaverne we’ll swim out of the shallow cove and continue west along the base of the cliffs to the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac. For medium and longer wild swimming routes we continue on past Port Isaac, pausing in remote coves and on hidden beaches to soak up the beautiful environment along the way.
We offer short, medium and long-distance routes that cater for a wide range of abilities, from casual swimmers seeking a supported introduction to wild swimming through to triathletes training for an open water swim event. Each session can be tailored to suit your requirements, be it a relaxing sightseeing swim or a tough training session.
Guided Wild Swimming with Cornish Rock Tors costs from £40 per person and includes the use of all necessary equipment, including a warm 5mm wetsuit, goggles and swim cap. All you need to bring is a towel and swimwear. Participants must be eight years old or over and competent swimmers (i.e. be able to swim 25M in a pool unaided). We ask that children under 14 years old are accompanied by an adult.
Port Gaverne is located seven miles from Polzeath and participants will need their own means of transport to get to and from the venue.
