Father’s Day Activities and Adventures
Sunday June 16th is Father’s Day here in the UK, and if you’re starting to think about what you can do with your dad to show him how much you appreciate him then we’re here to help.
We believe that the best gifts are memories, and that experiences beat “things” any day of the week; spending some time with your dad (whether that’s on Sunday 16th itself or on another day) doing something together or as a family and making long-lasting memories is a gift for you all.
For the Adventurous Dad
Bring dad coasteering (which means you can come too!) and spend half a day enjoying the rugged Cornish coast, clambering across rocks, swimming through wave features, exploring caves and of course leaping from ledges into the sea.
For the Sight-Seeing Dad
Let dad sit back and enjoy the view of the coast on a guided sea kayaking trip (whilst you do all the paddling in a double sit-on-top sea kayak), perhaps paddling around to the picturesque neighbouring village of Port Isaac. Sea kayaking is one of our more relaxed activities and as well as soaking up the scenery he may well see some of the wildlife and sea birds that live or visit this stretch of coast.
For the Active Dad
Perhaps your dad is a cyclist, runner or swimmer who trains regularly and maybe even enters the occasional event? A 1:1 private guided open water swimming session would make the perfect gift, allowing dad to benefit from personalised coaching and setting and swimming a route of his choosing. Or if you’re local to North Cornwall, a block of passes for our weekly open water training sessions will allow him to get some regular open water training in over the summer months.
For the “Tight for Time” Dad
Activity gift vouchers mean that dad can choose when works best for him, and even select the activity that he wants to do most. Just make sure that you include yourself on the voucher, so you get to enjoy the time with him whenever it is!
